Emergency Orders for Idle Speed, Street Closing, and Keeping Sand Bags in Place.

Sodus Point, NY, 1:00 p.m., 8/14/2017

EXTENSIONS OF THE FOLLOWING EMERGENCY ORDERS HAVE BEEN ISSUED:

Continue the Emergency Order of power driven vessels to operate at no more than idle speed on Great Sodus Bay at 12:01 a.m. on August 14th, 2017.

Continue the Emergency Order to keep sand bags in place to protect property from wave action at 12:01 a.m. on August 14th, 2017.

Continue the Emergency Order closing Greig Street from Wolcott Street east at 12:01 a.m. August 14th, 2017.

The Emergency Orders will stay in effect for five (5) days unless rescinded earlier by the Chief Executive of the Village of Sodus Point. Failure to obey these orders is a misdemeanor, a criminal offense, punishable by law under New York State Executive Law, Article 2-B. The orders can be viewed on www.soduspoint.info
